Rose E. Vavala Natale, 89, of Youngsville, PA. died at the home of her son, Jack, Monday evening, November 28, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was born January 23, 1922 in Morrison, PA. to the late Joseph and Vincentina (Nancy) Zaffino Vavala. Rose has resided in Youngsville since 1941 and was a member of St. Luke R.C. Church and the church altar rosary society. She is remembered as always being a fantastic cook, excellent baker who put her family to the center of her life. She truly enjoyed taking care of her family. She is survived by her 2 sons – John (Jack) Natale, Jr. and his wife, Janet, Ronald J. Natale all of Youngsville, PA., 1 Sister – Angeline (Ange) Natale of Scottsdale, AZ., 2 Brothers – Frank and James J. Vavala both of Warren, PA., 3 Grandchildren – Kathy Natale of Latrobe, PA., Kris Sowa and husband, Steve of Youngsville, PA., Tom Natale of Champion, Ohio, 3 Great Grandchildren – Brett, Ben and Matt Sowa all of Youngsville, PA., numerous friends including Megan and Mia Sloan of Champion, Ohio, Cheryl Green of Youngsville, PA., several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Natale whom she married August 9, 1941 at St. Joseph R.C. Church, Warren, PA., 3 Brothers – Bruno, Carl and Sam Vavala, 1 Sister – Jean Vavala.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, Pa. on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. where a vigil service will be conducted by Deacon Phil Skerda at 8:30 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Friday at 10:00 A.M. at ST. JOSEPH R.C. CHURCH, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA. with Rev. Fr. John Neff, Pastor of St. Luke’s R. C. Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
