Suzanne Care Nelson, 57, of Warren, PA, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2019 at her residence where she had been living with her boyfriend and her son, while her daughter was her loving caregiver. Sue was born on December 9, 1961 in Erie, PA, and was the daughter of the late Marion Care and Theresa Scalise Care.
Sue was a longtime Warren resident. Her daughter remembers her as one of the most caring people you could meet. She loved having her grandchildren visit and used to babysit her nephews. One of her greatest passions was decorating and she always had a way of making use of just about anything and giving her home a cozy feel. She also loved animals and had numerous pets throughout the years, taking great joy in their company.
Suzanne is survived by her two children – Trinity Zock and Shawn Smith, 1 sister – Mary Ann Zigler (Rusty), as well as her grandchildren, all residents of Warren, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Justin Daniel Smith. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
