Samuel “Sam” Lore, 73, of Warren, PA died Friday morning, November 26, 2021, at Warren General Hospital.
He was born July 14, 1948, in Corry, PA to Thomas and Doris Crane Lore. Sam was employed with Bell Atlantic as a lineman technician. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.
Sam was a member of the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club, Kalbfus Rod and Gun Club, the US Power Squadron, Sheffield VFW Post #8755 and was former commander of the American Legion Post 658, Youngsville. He was also a member of the Communication Workers’ Association (CWA).
Sam enjoyed gardening, hunting, and boating.  He especially enjoyed supporting his grandchildren in their extracurricular activities.
Sam is survived by his wife, Linda Lowe Lore, of Warren, whom he married on October 28, 1972, at the Free Methodist Church, Warren, PA. His daughter, Jaclyn (Eric) Johnson, Warren, PA, and his son, Sean (Kimberly) Lore, Bunker Hill, WV. Four grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Jadzia Johnson, Kyle Lore, and Elyzabeth Lore. Sam is also survived by his siblings, Dennis (Ida) Lore of Youngsville, PA, Howard Lore of Kitty Hawk, NC, Ruth Henton of Centerville, PA, and Mary (Paul) Glover of Bradford, PA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Candice Denise Lore in infancy.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm followed by a service at 1:00 pm conducted by Pastor Rick Hamrick of the Youngsville Free Methodist Church. Interment will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Corry, PA.
