Rosie will forever be missed. Force to be reckoned with when I first moved here and such a lovely conversationalist as the years went by. Loved going to The Hillside to eat and visit. She was a fabulous cook!
RIP Aunt Rosie. ~ Michelle
I am so sorry to hear of Rose’s passing. My condolences go out to her family and all who knew and loved her. I will miss her.
My mom and dad (Theresa and Gene Mosco) knew Rose and Andy for years. In fact, I was named after her. I loved seeing her when we went up to our camp. And oh my gosh the Prime Rib and her famous salad dressing at their restaurant was always a highlight!! When I was young I used to spend a week in the summer with Rose and Andy. My visits with them are some of my fondest childhood memories. My dad passed away around the same time as Andy and my mom passed last summer, and talking with Rose really helped me with those tough times. Now Rose is resting with them in paradise.
I loved that Rose and I still talked throughout the years and she got to see my kids grow up (at least in Christmas cards). I love you Rose.
I was Rosie’s PA Lottery rep until she closed Hillside. I looked forward to helping her with Lottery and enjoyed my visits each month. We shared ideas on cooking and I loved her stories about her past . She will be missed but I’m certain she has brightened the heavens with her beautiful smile. Rest easy Rosie, I will remember you always. ~ Karen Langianese, PA Lottery-retired.
Great Aunt Rosie had the best prime rib I have ever had and the best spaghetti and meatballs. The stories my dad would tell me about how much and what she did in a days time always amazed me, pumping oil wells all morning and running a restaurant all night, pretty amazing lady that will be missed. Rest easy Great Aunt Rosie.
Rose will be missed by many. My Mom, I, and all of my sisters worked with her and Andy at one time or another. She was very good to us all. We helped her decorate the Hillside and Andrea’s for Christmas a few times and after she gave us a pizza and wing party. There are many memories where I can think back and smile because of her. I send all of my Love, Hugs, and Prayers to her Family and Friends.
