Robert W. Blair, 89, of Warren, PA., and Longboat Key, FL, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020. He was born February 5, 1931 in Warren, PA., a son of the late Lester A. and Joyce Whiting Blair. He retired in 1991 as Executive Vice President of Blair Corporation, but remained on the Board of Directors until 2003. After attending University of Michigan and John Hopkins University, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. He was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church, the Conewango Valley Country Club and Longboat Key Club in Florida. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend, who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley Brown Blair whom he married July 15, 1960, Three daughters, Michele Blair of Erie, PA., Jennifer Potts of Russell, PA., Patrice Blair of Northville, MI and a son, Daniel Blair (Karen) of Warren, PA., 13 Grandchildren – Justin Blair, Amanda Kirin (Jason), Trevor, Tyler, John and Daniel Potts, Benjamin (Emily) and Julia Farnham, Allison Hohl (T.J.) and Sydney, Erica, Steffen and Colin Blair, 3 Great Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alan J. Blair, a son-in-law, Thomas Potts, and a niece, Julia Banks.

A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., with Fr. Richard Tomasone, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
