Nancy R. Lyon, 78, of Warren, PA., died Wednesday morning, September 20, 2023, at Warren Manor Nursing Home, Warren, PA., after an extended illness. She was born April 17, 1945, in Russell, PA. She was the daughter of Richard and Catherine Lucks Lyon. Nancy was a lifelong Warren area resident and a 1963, graduate of Warren High School. She was employed for 33 years, in the offices of the former New Process Company and retired from Blair Corporation. She is remembered for being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to shop, and spend time with her dog, Penny.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 42 years, William “Bill” Lyon whom she married June 27, 1981, in Warren, PA., 3 Children- Bill Lyon and wife, Angela of Clarendon, PA., Melody Zaffino and husband, Mark of Russell, PA., Scott Lyon and wife, Amy of Suamico, WI., 2 Brothers – Harold Kane of Warren, PA., Dick Kane of Youngsville, PA., 3 Grandchildren and 1 on his way soon, several nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Sisters – Bernadette Kane, Janice Hawks, Helen Scalise, 2 Brothers – Donald and Raymond Kane.
Family will receive friends on Friday, September 22, 2023, from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., A funeral and committal service will be conducted Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the funeral home at 1:00 P.M. with Rev.
