Mary L. Buchanan, 78, of Warren, PA., died Monday afternoon, December 26, 2016 at U.P.M.C. Hamot, Erie, PA., after a brief illness. She was born July 31, 1938 in Sugar Grove, PA. Mary was the daughter of Clayton A. and Katherine Gray Buchanan. She was a longtime Warren area resident. Mary was employed at G.G. Greene Enterprises, former Solar Electric and Phillips Lighting and retired as manager of the former Oh So White Laundrymat. She was a member of the Warren Eagles Aerie and a former member of the Women of the Moose Lodge 109, enjoyed bowling, Nascar and Stateline Racing, football, crocheting and playing poker.
She is survived by her 4 children – Melody R. Shaffer and husband, Allen of Clarendon, Pa., Carol Kimber, Debbie Brewer both of Jamestown, N.Y., Ken Peters and wife, Tammy of Warren, PA., 11 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her significant other, Gerald (Pete) Pebbles, 1 Daughter – Wendy Borton, 1 Brother – Clayton Buchanan, 2 Great Granddaughters – Calista and Farrah Fiscus.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 2 to 4 when a funeral and committal service will be conducted by Rev.
