Mary A. Kohl, 71, a resident of Golden Living-Kinzua Valley, Warren, PA. went to her heavenly home to be with her son, on Sunday, December 22, 2013 after an extended illness. She was born in Allegheny, PA. on June 18, 1941. Mary was in numerous foster homes throughout her life and was raised by Catholic nuns. She was employed as a laborer in Jamestown, N.Y. working at Dahlstrom’s, Fancher Chairs and Monitor Furniture. She is remembered as a extremely hard worker as a single mother. She especially enjoyed her pet dog, Jeff and playing cards. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Gibbs and husband, Roger of Ashville, N.Y., daughter-in-law, Cheryl Ellis of Celeron, N.Y., 1 Sister – Eileen Teyssier of Cecil, PA., 5 Grandchildren – Ryan and Steph Gibbs of Okinawa, Japan, Kristie Lynn Gibbs of Lakewood, N.Y., Brittany Chase of Jamestown, N.Y., Jeff and McKenzie Bennett of Celeron, N.Y., Mike and Justin Olson of Florida, several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son – Russell Anthony Himes Ellis who died November 20, 2013. A celebration of her life will be conducted at the convenience of the family at a later date.
