Mark A. Brecht, 64, of N. Warren, PA., died Monday morning, February 17, 2020 at Warren General Hospital, Warren, PA., after an illness since the summer of 2019. Mark was born December 18, 1955 in Warren, PA. He was the son of Joyce Smith Brecht of North Warren, PA., and the late Carl H. Brecht. Mark was formerly of Southern Texas and worked all over the world. He was a 1974 graduate of Warren Area High School and the Warren Vocational Technical School in carpentry. While in school he was known as “Gentle Ben”. He was a self-employed carpenter, working numerous F.E.M.A. jobs and had also worked for Evergreen Helicopters. Mark was an avid hunter, outdoorsman, fisherman and enjoyed shooting and trap shooting. His proudest and greatest accomplishment in life, was his daughter, Victoria, she was the center of his life. He was a big dog lover and was very close to his nephews in Washington State.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Victoria E. Brecht of Warren, PA., 7 Siblings – Jim R. Brecht and wife, Wendy of Crossville, TN., Rick R. Brecht and companion, Lucinda Webb, Carla J. Brecht Steinhauser and husband, Cris all of Warren, PA., D. Chris Brecht and wife, Cyndi of Lake Jackson, TX., Jill M. Brecht Milloy of West Lake, OH., Joel E. Brecht and his husband, Thomas Bule of Sunbury, PA., Jess O. Brecht and wife, Katherine of Snohomish, WA., several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. 304 East Street, Warren, PA., with Rev. Allan Jones, Pastor of Cable Hollow Community Church, officiating.
