Marcia R. Baker of Warren, PA. died surrounded by her family, Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice Home. She was born in Warren, PA. to the late Percy R. and Violet V. Van Dersluys Richardson. She was a Warren, PA. her entire life. Marcia was a 1949 graduate of Warren High School. She was employed from 1949 to 1953 with the former Sunray Electric, now known as Interelectric and was later employed with the Warren Public Library Association as a secretary in all departments where she worked from 1970 until her retirement as a District Librarian of the Seneca District in 1995. She was a member of Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church. A former Grey Lady with the Warren General Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, volunteer with the Warren State Hospital, Hospice of Warren County, Warren Unit of the American Cancer Society where she was a former member of the board of directors.

She is survived by her children – Creed Erickson of Livermore, CA., Stephen Erickson of Franklinton, N.C., Miriam (Mamie) Robinette of Oklahoma City, OK., Cyrus Erickson of New York City, N.Y., Peter Baker of Sherman, N.Y., Katherine Baker Bowley of Warren, PA., Margaret (Molly) Baker Long of Santa Fe, N.M., Richard A. Baker of Milwaukee, WI., Martha Baker Richardson of Williamsburg, VA., Elizabeth Baker Chavez of Houston, TX., 17 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, several cousins also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Canon Richard H. Baker whom she married November 27, 1970 at Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church who died November 25, 2004, 1 Sister – Ann Miriam Richardson who died in August 1928.

A Memorial Service will be conducted Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church with The Rev. Matthew R. Scott, Vicar and the Rt. Rev. Sean W. Rowe, Bishop of the Diocese of Northwestern Pennsylvania, officiating. The family will receive friends directly following the church service at the Conewango Club. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
