Linda N. Fredrickson, 74, of Warren, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 16, 2020, after a long courageous battle with cancer, at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice Residence surrounded by her family.

Born on March 20, 1946 in Jamestown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Herbert T. and Helen Broleen Nelson. Linda was a graduate of Southwestern High School in Jamestown, NY, and the Jamestown Business College. She worked for 18 years as assistant manager with Chase Bank, and later as registrar at W.C.A. Hospital for 28 years. She was a member of the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club, the Warren Eagles Club, and American Legion Post 135. Linda loved boating, especially sailing on Lake Chautauqua with her father for many years. In her later years she enjoyed power boating with her husband, Bruce, at the Kinzua Reservoir for 30+ years. She enjoyed attending auctions around the area.

Linda is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bruce Fredrickson, whom she married on July 24, 1991; one sister – Nancy Shannon of West Ellicott, NY; one nephew – Todd Shannon, and her beloved great Pyrenees dog, Max. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Roger P. Shannon. Linda’s family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Valeriy Sedov and the incredible clerical and nursing staff at the Warren Cancer Care Center.

There will be no public services. A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Oakland Cemetery, Warren, PA.
