Leroy R. “Mickey” Weaver, 86, of Warren, PA, died Monday, January 18, 2016 at his home after an extended illness. He was born July 23, 1929 in Warren, PA to the late William I. and Geraldine Shatzle Weaver. He has resided his entire life in Warren and was a 1947 graduate of Warren High School. He had served in the U.S. Army in the Adjutant Generals Division as a Staff Sergeant. Mickey was employed as a data processing manager with the former G.T.E. Sylvania for 18 years and also with Northwest Savings Bank as an assistant vice president, retiring from there after 12 years service. He was a life member of the Warren Elks Lodge and a member of the Frewsburg American Legion Post 556.

He is survived by his companion, Sabra Ristau of Warren, PA., 2 Daughters – Linda Sue Tecce and husband, Gene of Washington Crossing, PA., Penny Weaver of Petrolia, PA., 1 Sister – Marjorie Harp and husband, Ralph of Warren, PA., 5 Grandchildren – Amos, Ira and Eli Good, Gina Tecce and Marielena Brennan and husband, Dave, 4 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother – Forrest Weaver. Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA, on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral and committal services will be held on Friday at the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Jeff Ewing, Pastor of First Lutheran Church, Warren, PA, officiating. Full military honors will be conducted by members of the Clarendon/Sheffield V.F.W. Honor Guard and U.S. Army Personnel.
