Larry was born in Warren on September 8, 1947, the son of the late William and Margaret Townley Donaldson. Larry retired as a Hydro Operator for the Penelec Power Company, in 2002, Larry also worked with Struthers Wells Corporation.
Larry is survived by his stepdaughter Lori R. Swick and husband Steve, Warren; step grandson, Kyle Swick, Warren; sisters, Becky Cooper and husband Gary, Florida, Susan Freeborough and husband Rick, Tidioute; and brother William J. Donaldson and wife Shirley, of Pittsfield.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy L. (Abplanalp) Donaldson, who passed on November 19, 2021, and his sister Debbie Curtis.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park. Arrangements by the Donald E. It is with a great deal of regret as I read this morning newspaper and learned of the passing of a good friend Larry Donaldson. We worked together at Struthers – Wells, drank a lot of coffee, and rode together with motorcycles. Larry was a great guy and lots of fun. Rest on peace, “BABY”
