Kelsi Rae Freeborough age 29, of Warren PA died on Sunday January 24th 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA following a harrowing battle with addiction. She was the daughter of the late Kenda (Lopez) Freeborough and Dana and Patti Freeborough.

Kelsi was a Warren Area High School graduate and briefly attended Toni and Guy cosmetology school.

Kelsi was a lifelong Catholic, recently of Praise Fellowship. Kelsi always showed kindness and gave out her magnificent smiles freely. If you knew Kelsi, you knew her larger than life laugh. She was always interested in sharing a story or a cigarette and a heartfelt laugh whether she knew you for her whole life or a few seconds. She loved spending time around her family and many close friends whom she considered family.

Over the years, she held various jobs, but she was above all else an artist. Some of Kelsi’s best days were spent making art for her friends and family. Her pieces were always one of a kind, colorful and heartfelt. Kelsi considered her greatest work of art to be her daughter Kenda. She took great pride in becoming a mother and in her smart, beautiful baby Kenda Rae.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents – Paul and Kay Freeborough, her maternal grandmother – Sharon Long Sanden and step-grandfather, Herbert W. Sanden, and a paternal uncle, Darrin L. Freeborough.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Kenda Rae Christeson; father and stepmother Dana and Patti Freeborough; sisters Danielle Weirich and Eric Reinwald, of Waterford, Melissa and Austin Fitzgerald, of Warren, Dr. Kaeli Freeborough and Dr. Wei-Ning Sun, of Houston; Maternal Grandfather, James Lopez and maternal step grandmother, Carol Lopez of Warren, PA., as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends from all walks of life.

Private service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
