Julia Juliano Decker, 97, of Warren, PA. died Friday afternoon, January 9, 2015 at John and Orpha Blair Hospice Home. She was born June 22, 1917 in Warren, PA. A daughter of the late August and Angela Mancuso Juliano. She was a 1935 graduate of Warren High School and was first employed as a secretary with the Works Progress Administration and then secretary with the Adult Education and Recreation Program. For 25 years she was employed as Secretary and Employment Supervisor with the Pennsylvania State Employment Service and Unemployment Compensation Division until October, 1962 at which time she began her employment as Personnel Director with Blair Corporation retiring in March, 1979. Mrs. Decker was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. She was a former member of Zonta Club for 30 years and served on the Salvation Army Advisory Board for 30 years and was an active member of the Antiques Study Club of Warren and a former member of the Philomel Club.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Decker was preceded in death by her husband, Harry A. Decker whom she married on March 31, 1945 and died November 18, 1991, five brothers – infant Agostino, Tommy, Arthur, James and August P. Juliano, 1 Stepson – Rev. Sigmund S. Decker.

She is survived by two sisters – Theresa Juliano Bruzzi of Coudersport, PA., Elizabeth Juliano Richardson of Ballwin, MO., one brother – Thomas P. Juliano and his wife, Elizabeth Goss Juliano of Allison Park, PA., one stepson – Arthur Decker of Williamsport, PA, several nieces, nephews, several step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren. Friends will be received at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA. on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 one hour prior to a Mass of Christian Burial which will be concelebrated at 11:00 A.M. with Fr. Richard Toohey, Pastor and Fr. Phillip Oriole, Pastor of St. Lawrence R.C. Church, Albion, PA.

Burial will be in the family plot at St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
