Jean A. Johnson, 82, of Warren, PA, died on Friday September 1, 2023, in Warren General Hospital.

She was born in Titusville, PA, on February 15, 1941, the daughter of the late Raymond L. and Pearl A. Littlefield Grubbs. Jean was a graduate of Youngsville High School. She was a homemaker for many years raising her seven children, after her children were grown, Jean worked numerous jobs in the area. Jean loved her family, any time spent with her children and grandchildren would brighten her day. She loved holidays and family events; she had a great love for cooking and baking. Jean also had a great love for playing cards, going to the casino, and playing bingo. Jean was a member of the Sheffield Senior Center, and the Clarendon Sheffield VFW.

She is survived by her seven loving children; Donna Yeskey and husband Dave of Youngsville, Bob Johnson and wife Mara of Sheffield, Donald Johnson Jr. and wife Diane of Warren, Jeff Johnson and wife Jackie of Florida, Rodney Johnson and wife Tami of Tidioute, David Johnson, and Cindy Johnson both of Warren; 18 grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Bobbi Jo, Jacob, Megan, Conner, Matt, Emily, Colby, Jeffrey, Stephanie, Kara, Eric, Linda, Melisha, Kesha, David, and Kelsey; 22 great grandchildren; brother, Douglas Grubbs of Clarendon; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by a grandson, David Wolfgang; siblings, Loretta Brown, Raymond Grubbs Jr., Alton Grubbs, Betty Renninger, and two still born siblings, Robert Wayne, and Edward Lamont; and a brother-in-law, William Renninger.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc., 304 East St., Warren, PA on Wednesday September 6th, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, and on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am with the Rev. Dr. Dale Haight, officiating. Burial will take place in Barnes Cemetery, Sheffield, PA.
