James H. McMichael, 60, Warren, PA. died Thursday, May 1, 2014 at U.P.M.C. Hamot, Erie, PA. after suffering an apparent stroke. He was born September 10, 1953 in Warren, PA. He was a lifelong Warren area resident. Jim was a 1971 graduate of Warren Area High School. He was employed with the former Rexnord, Inc. for 33 years as a maintenance technician. Since 2006 he has been employed with Watson Memorial Home as Director of Maintenance. He was a member of the Warren Eagles Club. He was a sports car enthusiast, enjoyed walking, boating, motorcycling, cooking. He was extremely mechanically gifted. He was a very giving person, even after death, becoming an organ and tissue donor.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kimberley Broxton McMichael whom he married August 14, 1981 in Sheffield, PA., 3 Children – Jesse J. McMichael and wife, Michele of Warren, PA., Kyle R. McMichael of Madison, WI., Abby L. McMichael at home, His mother, Imogene Norris McMichael Schall and her husband, Stewart both of Whiting, N.J., 1 Brother – David McMichael of Warren, PA., 2 Grandchildren – Trey and Tori McMichael of Warren, PA., several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, Forest McMichael.

Friends will be received at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. Monday, May 5, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family by Rev. Marcus Briggs, Chaplain of the Warren General Hospital, officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
