Gloria J. Suppa, 78, of Pleasant Township, Warren, PA., died Saturday morning, March 22, 2025, with her family at her side. Gloria was born January 8, 1947, in Warren, PA. She was the daughter of Naomi “Jeanette” Hatch Font Walstrom and Francis Anthony “Shay” Font. Gloria was a lifelong Warren area resident. She was a 1965, graduate of Warren High School. She worked with her husband, Victor at Suppa Shell Station, retiring after many years. She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church, the Ladies Auxiliaries of the Warren Eagles Aerie, Warren American Legion Post 135, and Son of Italy. She was an avid gardener, decorator, loved the outdoors. She enjoyed every holiday spent with family and entertaining. Her family was the most important quality and treasure of her life.
Gloria is survived by her husband, Victor Suppa, who would have been married for 57 years this Easter Sunday, whom she married April 20, 1968, at St. Joseph R.C. Church, Warren, PA.,
2 Daughters – Jennifer Suppa, and Jessica Suppa Wilson and her husband, Jason, all of Warren, PA., 1 Grandson – Jayden Wilson, who was her greatest love outside of her husband, Victor, Brother – Joseph Font and wife, Sandy, Sister – Susan Swanson and husband, Douglas, Brother-in-Law, John Gray, all of Warren, PA., 2 Sister-in-Laws, Patti English and Ann Suppa both of Erie, PA., her faithful companion, her cat, Brady, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sisters – Deborah Anne Walstrom, Gayle Gray, Brother-in-laws, Robert and Jack Suppa, 1 Niece – Nicole L. “Nikki” Font.
Friends and family will be received at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 1:00-3:00 & 6 to 8 PM
A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA., on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM with Fr. Thomas Suppa, family priest and Fr. Richard C. Tomasone, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery. Dave Krespan and I were so very sad to read about Gloria’s passing. Remembering her from WAHS the class behind us. Anytime I ever saw she and Vic, no matter where or when, always the same; great big smile, and friendly conversation. So very sorry for your loss, and may this lovely lady rest in the peace she so deserves.
