Glenn L. Daelhousen, 89, of Warren, died Tuesday morning, November 22, 2011 at UPMC Hamot, Erie, Pa. after a brief illness. He was born February 17, 1922 in Warren to the late Clyde L. and Alma Phillips Daelhousen. He has resided in Warren and the Tidioute area most his entire life.  Glenn was a graduate of Tidioute High School Class of 1940.  He had served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and was employed prior to his service time with the Civil Conservation Corp.  He retired as a switchman with the former Bell Telephone after 50 years service. He was a former member of the Warren V.F.W and Lakewood Rod & Gun Club.  He was an avid hunter.

He is survived by his son, Jack Daelhousen and wife, Rachel of Ashville, NY., daughterinlaw, Brenda Daelhousen of Sinking Springs, Pa., 1 sister  Katie Johnson of Warren, 4 grandchildren  Olen Daelhousen of Atlanta, Ga., Chad Daelhousen and wife, Julie of Jamestown, NY., Kim Daelhousen of Sinking Springs, Pa., Eric Daelhousen and wife, Wendee of Philadelphia, Pa., several nieces and nephews also survive.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Ruth Brocklehurst Daelhousen who died October 1, 1981, 2nd wife, Geraldine Wilson Hillard Daelhousen who died March 10,  2011, 1 son  Scott Daelhousen who died February 9, 2002, 1 sister  Lucille Caldin, 1 brother  Richard Daelhousen.

A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in Tidioute Cemetery, Tidioute, Pa.  Those wishing to place memorials may do so through a charity of choice.  The Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge of funeral arrangements.
