Ethelyne Swanson Lindblad Larson, 91, a resident for the past 1 ½

years of the Rouse Warren County Home, Youngsville, PA., died

there Tuesday morning, April 7, 2015. She was born May 6, 1923

in Jamestown, N.Y. She was the daughter of George and Laurina

Nystrand Swanson. She was a longtime Bemus Point and

Jamestown, N.Y. resident, moving to Warren, PA., in 2011.

Ethelyne was employed as a legal Secretary most of her life and

was also employed with Ames Insurance of Falconer, N.Y. as a

Secretary and Office Manager. She has also been employed as a

Secretary with Soap and Solvent in Jamestown, N.Y.

Ethelyne was raised in the Immanuel Lutheran Church of

Jamestown, N.Y. and later attended St. Timothy Lutheran Church

in Bemus Point, NY where she was active in all aspects of the

church, was a church council member, ELCA and served as

financial secretary. She loved to play golf, bridge and pinochle.

She was a former member of Nordin Women’s Club, Vikings

Club and the Marvin House. She was an accomplished artist and

enjoyed music.

She is survived by her 4 children – Peter Lindblad and wife,

Cyndy and Beth Konkus all of Stuart, FL., Nancy Lindblad of

Warren, PA. , Patty Rosenberg and husband, Abe of Jamestown,

N.Y. 1 Sister – Elizabeth Ralph of Spokane, WA., 2 Sister-in-laws,

Doris Swanson of Cromwell, CT., Anne Swanson of Cotuit, MA.,

14 Grandchildren – Ryan Konkus, Kristen Signorelli, Piper

Spitzer, Hunter, Brooks, Whitney, Quint Lindblad, Adrian and

Andrew Shodi, Marc Carraher, Jessica Harvey, Erin Beckstrom,

Katie Chapman and Emily Wood, 19 Great Grandchildren,

several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st

husband, Gordon Lindblad and 2nd husband, Larry Larson, 2

Brothers – Gordon and George Swanson.

Friends may call at the First Lutheran Church, 109 W. Third Ave.,

Warren, PA. Monday, April 13, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00

A.M. followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 A.M. with Revs.

David Blank, Pastor and Jeffrey Ewing, Associate Pastor,

officiating. Interment will be in Bemus Point Cemetery, Bemus
