Dorothy J. “Dottie” Dibble, of Warren, PA., would be 88 years old on Saturday, October 20, 2018, died Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Kinzua Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Warren, PA., after an extended illness. She was born in Warren, PA., on October 20, 1930 to the late John and Anna Gora. Dottie was formerly of Sheffield, PA., where she was a 1948 graduate of Sheffield High School. She resided most of her life in Warren, PA. Dottie was employed for many years in the mailing department of Blair Corporation. She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church and Sheffield Senior Center. She loved her animals, especially her cats. She enjoyed completing search word puzzles. Dottie’s family remembers her as always being a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, who was a real people person, who was full of love for everyone she would meet.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Steinkamp and husband, Craig, 2 Granddaughters – Lisa Hamler, Julie Dickey, 2 Great Grandchildren – Jordon Hamler and Maddy Hamler all of Warren, PA., several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Ernest James Dibble whom she married January 11, 1952 in Clarendon, PA., who died December 26, 1987, 3 Sisters – Helen Guy, Mary Pierson, Frances Udovich, 1 Brother – John Gora, Jr.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 6 to 8 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Monday, October 22, 2018 at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA., at 10:00 A.M. with Fr. James Gutting, Pastor of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
