Donna Mays Harman, 86, of Warren, PA., died suddenly, Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at U.P.M.C. Hamot, Erie, PA., after a brief illness. She was born July 19, 1930 in Warren, Pa.

Donna was the daughter of Guy and Clara Galey Mays.

She was a lifelong Warren area resident and wintered in Lake Wales, Fl. Donna grew up in Youngsville, PA., and was a 1948 graduate of Youngsville High School. She was employed with the former Dr. Jones, Snyder and Duell dentist office as their office manager, retiring after many years employment. Donna was an active member of Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church and the church altar guild. Donna enjoyed playing Bridge, knitting, dancing and all social activities. She was a member of the Warren Bocce Club. Donna had an incredible sense of humor and enjoyed a good laugh.

She is survived by her children – Craig Whitaker and wife, Kristine of Warren, PA., Clark Whitaker and wife, Samantha of Russell, PA., Marty Harman of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.,

David Harman and his wife, Valerie of Pleasant Twp.

Valerie Monroe of Jamestown, N.Y.

4 Grandchildren – including Emily Whitaker of Erie, PA.,

1 Brother – Bruce Mays of Harborcreek, PA., 1 Sister – Gloria Mitchell of Titusville, PA., several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Clyde M. Harman whom she married January 12, 1974 in Warren, PA., who died April 8, 2005.

A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family with The Rev. Matthew Scott, Vicar, officiating.
