Cynthia A. Lewis, 81, of Warren, PA, passed away at her residence on Thursday, June 16, 2022.

Cynthia was born on February 4, 1941 in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of the late Carl A. and Janet (Shattuck) Johnson. She graduated from Warren High School in 1959 and attended Clarion State College to pursue study in library science. She was first employed at Penn Furnace and at the National Forge Company. In the several years before her retirement, she worked as an administrative assistant in the City of Warren Magisterial District Court. Vocally talented, she enjoyed singing with community groups such as the Erie Philharmonic Chorus and Warren Players. Along with her great appetite for reading and her love of music and nature, Cynthia will be remembered for her humor and for her eagerness for others to see the beauty in things.

Cynthia is survived by her daughter Jennifer Love (Bruce) of Pipersville, PA, two grandsons Patrick Love of Littleton, CO and Michael Love of Pipersville, PA, and her sister Karen Wolfe (Craig) of Warren, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Paul Lewis.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 1 to 2 P.M. Funeral services will be conducted there at 2:00 P.M. by Pastor Joel Dingeldein of Calvary Baptist Church, Warren. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Warren, PA.
