Coleen J. “Oonnie” Hagstrom, 71, of Shipmans Eddy, Warren, PA, died on Sunday February 1, 2026, in her home surrounded by her loving family after an extended illness.
She was born May 19, 1954, in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of the late Donald W. and Joyce E. Engman Hagstrom. Coleen lived in Jamestown most of her life, but for the last 20 or so years she has resided in Shipmans Eddy. She was a graduate of Jamestown Community College and Phoenix University receiving her associate’s degree in psychology. Coleen worked as a DSP with the Resource Center in Jamestown for almost 30 years.
Coleen enjoyed Knitting and making numerous blankets for all her loved ones. She loved arts and crafts, Hallmark Movies, the Buffalo Bills, and her quiet time spent by the Allegheny River enjoying nature and watching the beautiful sky. She also had a great sense of humor and enjoyed giving her children extreme “Gag Gifts” for Christmas.
Coleen is survived by her Fiancé, Ron Peat of Shipmans Eddy; her two loving children, Heather Wilcox and husband William of Clarendon, PA, and her son Chad McCray and wife Shannon of Frewsburg, NY; step daughter, Sheri Peat of Kittanning, PA, and Ryan Anderson of Jamestown, NY; 11 grandchildren, Brittany, Ashleigh, Ray, Billy, Kara, Blade, Hannah, Biancia, Ethan, Alex, and Aiden; numerous great grandchildren; and her brother, Kyle Hagstrom and wife, Sandra of Erie, PA.
In addition to her parents, Coleen was preceded in death by her son, Michael A. Wright, who passed on May 27, 2014, and two grandchildren.

I worked with Coleen for many years and always saw her to be a kind loving caregiver. She was always ready to listen to anyone who needed a lending ear. She will be greatly missed.
