Clarence W. “Clink” Sullivan, 97, of Youngsville, passed away on Saturday June 4, 2022, in Warren General Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in Youngsville, on December 19, 1924, the son of the late Ralph W. and Rose (Finley) Sullivan. Clink was veteran of the US Army Air Corp, serving during World War II. He retired after 39 years as a group leader with the National Forge in Irvine, PA.

Clarence was a Warren County resident his entire life and enjoyed square dancing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church in Youngsville, PA, a member of the Youngsville American Legion, and a former member with AARP.

On June 11, 1948, he married his loving wife in Tidioute, the former Violet Marie Mulvey, and they spent the last 74 years together.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving daughters, Susan M. Kinney and husband Daniel of Spartansburg, PA, and Karen L. Sleeman and husband Randall of Warren, PA; five grandchildren, Amy S. Kinney of Cheyenne, WY, Amanda L. Russo of Wellsville, NY, Zachary T. Sleeman and wife Laura of Scranton, PA, Briana L. Sleeman of Warren, and David P. Sullivan and wife Pam of Arkansas; five great grandchildren, Anthony, Sophia, Johnathan, Mason, and Jackson; and one sister, Hazel Taydus, of Youngsville.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Clarence W. (Pat) Sullivan; and his siblings, four brothers, and five sisters.

Graveside services and military honors will be held on Wednesday June 8, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Youngsville Cemetery.
