Ann Marie Leasure, 84, of Sheffield, PA, died Friday, April 15, 2016 at her home following a lengthy illness.

Born on June 9, 1931 in Sheffield, PA, Ann was the daughter of the late Louis and Catherine Limar Peroski. On February 19, 1965 in Sheffield, she married Richard H. Leasure, who survives.

Ann was a lifetime resident of Sheffield and graduated from Sheffield High School in 1948. She had been employed with New Process Co. in Warren, PA and later with Groboski’s and Highland Group. Ann was a faithful member of St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church in Sheffield where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Rosary Society. She loved gardening and flowers. Her joy was singing in church.

In addition to her husband, Ann is survived by two children – Fr. Mark Leasure and his wife, Bev, of Taylor, PA, and Sonja Miller and her husband, Dave, of Warren, PA, two grandchildren – Kyra and Adam, one brother, Joseph Peroski and his wife, Lelo, of Germany, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by five brothers – John Odonish, Michael, Nicholas, Charles, and Steven Peroski and one sister – Mary Mikolas.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA, from 4-7pm on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. The Parastas will be sung at 6:30pm Tuesday at the funeral home. A Funeral Divine Liturgy will be held at 10:00am Wednesday at St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, 407 School Street, Sheffield, PA, with the Fr. David A. Bosnich, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Sheffield, PA. Those wishing to place a memorial may do so through St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church.
