Agnes “Aggie” Porter Green, 87, of Meadville, PA., and formerly of Warren, PA., died peacefully with family surrounding her, Thursday morning, April 27, 2017. She was born in Warren, PA., on May 22, 1929, daughter of George and Thelma K. Ellis Porter. Aggie was a 1947 graduate of Warren High School and Hamot Hospital Nursing School as a registered nurse. She was employed with Warren General Hospital for several years, working in the Emergency Room, retiring in 1994.

She enjoyed reading, crocheting, the library theatre, walking, volunteering at the public library, but mostly spending time with her family.

She is survived by 4 daughters – Brenda Scott, Carrie Barnett and husband, Tom, Lisa Elliott and husband, Steve all of Meadville, PA., Kathy Sweet of Chandlers Valley, PA., 4 Granddaughters and 2 Grandsons, 6 Great Granddaughters, 4 Great Grandsons, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son – John S. Green, 2 Brothers – Ivan W. and George E. Porter, 2 Son- in-laws – Jon K Scott, Larry Sweet, 1 Great Granddaughter – Eleanor Jean Johnson.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 2 to 4 P.M. where a funeral service will be conducted Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev.
