To the Hill Family I’m so sorry to hear the passing of a wonderful man. I remember him always walking to work and home going across the Hickory Street Bridge. I saw him a year ago riding on the medical van to rehab, and we talked for a little bit, his smile was contagious. Your all in my prayers.
I have known Bill for close to 50 years. He is a very honest and humble person. I can still see him walking over the Hickory Street bridge on his way to his office from his home on the South Side. My sincere condolences to his family. He was my parents attorney for decades. Rest In Peace sir.
A piece of Warren history is gone. Bill will be so missed. My favorite part was hearing him in the audience with his wonderful laugh. We’d stand backstage and say, “oh good, Bill is here!” My condolences to his family.

Amy, Nancy, Bill, Barb and Mrs. Hill, in my numerous encounters with Mr. Hill he always greeted me with a warm smile and the most positive energy of any man I know. Although he treated me special the fact is he treated everyone this way. In more recent years we had many chats at the YMCA. Everyone he touched came away a better person. We are all now thinking about you and sending our positive energy and thoughts your way.
The Warren County Historical Society board of directors, staff, and volunteers extend our deepest condolences to Bill’s family. He started volunteering at the historical society in October 2014 and always had a good joke and a clever story for the Thursday morning crew. He was a welcoming soul for the out-of-town visitors and an old friend to anyone calling with a question. He was the best of the best, and we will all miss him dearly!
Dear Hill Family,
I was saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. He was proud of his family and of his community. I recalled his booming voice while singing hymns at church; his involvement our youth group and seeing him perform in Community Players. His legacy will live on. I pray that your memories of times spent together with Bill will ease your grief.
My sympathies,
Cindy (Kintner) Paschke
Bill a great person. He represented my parents for a number of years. Back in 1997 my wife and I purchased my parents cottage in Columbus. Bill handled the legal transaction. WE still enjoy the property.
Just sadly learned of Bill’s passing. Will always remember his strong support of my decision to attend Dickinson College back in 1962. His exceptional support of our Dickinson alma mater through the years was highly respected by many. Although our personal contact webbed out during the years, (in part due to my moving to Sweden in 1972) I do remember a couple interesting and educational visits to his home in North Warren. His involvement in the Warren Library and historical society should be a model for others to follow. My warmest regards to all his family.
Mrs. Hill, Bill, Nancy, Amy and Barbie,
I just found this notice tonight, almost a year after Bill’s passing. It’s been a long time, but I have fond memories of spending time together at the Player’s Club, or when he would stop to give me a hard time as I swept the sidewalk in front of Tiny Town, while he was out walking. Mostly, though, I appreciated that he took the time to come see me at my mother’s funeral. He just had a charm that not many people have. You probably won’t see this post, but I would be remiss if I didn’t note his passing. Much love, Clay
