William D. “Bill” Lemmon, Jr., 83, of Warren, PA., died Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Golden Living-Kinzua Valley.
He was born in Bradford, PA., on December 22, 1932 to the late William D. and Audrey R. O’Conner Lemmon, Sr. Bill was a longtime Warren area resident and was a 1950 graduate of Warren Area High School. He was employed at Warren State Hospital as a machinist for 24 years and formerly with the former National Forge Company for 10 years. He was an avid hunter and gardener.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Evelyn Wilson Lemmon whom he married March 13, 1952 at Calvary Baptist Church, Warren, PA., 4 children – Pastor Michael Lemmon and wife, Deborah of Apalachin, NY, Daniel Lemmon and wife, Anita of Erie, PA., Barbara Curtis of Saranac Lake, N.Y., Thomas Lemmon and wife, Sherri of Warren, PA., 2 Sisters – Jeanne Maier and husband, Fred of Warren, PA., Rita Goss and husband, Harry of Modesto, CA, 13 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Warren State Hospital Interfaith Chapel with his son, Pastor Michael Lemmon and Rev.
