William “Bill” Corey, 67, of Warren, PA., died Sunday afternoon, June 2, 2024, at UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA. Bill was born April 23, 1957, in Warren, PA. He was the son of Edwin J. and Ann Rose Graziano Corey. He was a lifelong Warren area resident and a member of the class of 1975 Warren Area High School. Bill was employed as a bricklayer at National Forge Company for 25 years and served as a Pennsylvania State Constable for 15 years. He was a member of Kalbfus Rod & Gun Club, enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, fishing and his greatest joys in life, were spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He loved his dogs.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lori. A. Hammerbeck Corey, whom he married November 1, 1980, in Warren, PA., 2 Daughters – Dr. Allison Cain and husband, Devin of Belmont, OH., Molly Forbes and husband, Bobby of Warren, PA., 1 Brother – Tom Corey and wife, Dorothy of Yorba Linda, CA., 1 Sister – Deborah Corey of Brandon, FL., 7 Grandchildren – Jackson, Elijah, Bennett Forbes, Liza, Emery, Anne, Leah Cain, several nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers – Don, Robert & Jack Corey, 1 Sister – Bev Marvin.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Friday, June 7, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, West, Warren, PA., with Fr. Richard Tomasone, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
