Victor Sumter Vierra Jr., 65, of Warren, PA, passed away on Thursday March 5, 2026, in his home after an illness.

He was born in Frankfurt, Germany, on August 27, 1960, the son of the late Col. Victor Sumter Vierra Sr. and Jean Hope Stewart Vierra and she survives. Victor was a former resident of Flat Rock, NC, before moving to Warren, PA. He was employed as an Electrical Engineer with United Refining from 2006-2012, worked for Georgia Pacific in Mt. Jewett from 2014-2022, and Quest/Web Tech in Erie, until his illness in 2025. Victor enjoyed Photography, and would always be looking for a good photo.

Victor was member of the First Lutheran Church, of Warren, PA. On June 3, 2006, Victor married the former Beth Ann Kaplan in Gatlinburg, TN, and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Beth, Victor is survived by his mother, Jean Hope Vierra, of Columbus, NC; his children, Sarah Kirby and husband Terry of Hendersonville, NC, and Steffen Fischer and Karyn of Ashville, NC; and his sister, Lisa Hope Vierra-Moore of Hendersonville, NC.

In addition to his father, Victor was preceded in death by his brother, Kent Stewart Vierra.
