Thomas Michael Egger, 72, of Warren passed away on Tuesday December 27, 2022, in Warren General Hospital after an extended illness.
Tom was born in Warren, Pa, on June 24, 1950, the son of late Wallace M. Egger and Anna Mae Niles. He was a graduate of Warren High School and was a veteran of the US Navy. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and served as ministerial servant at the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Pleasant Township. Tom worked as a laborer for the former Interlectric, in Warren.
Tom loved Art, oil painting, wood carving, traveling, was an excellent family man, and his favorite pastime was that he was a student of the Bible. On Dec 20, 1991, he married Laurie S. Wilcox, in Warren and they spent the next 31 loving years together. Tom was a wonderful, loving, and caring son, father, grandfather, and friend to those closest to him. He always looked for the good in everyone and was always a hearing ear to anyone who needed someone to just listen. He always knew just what to say to help you! He will be truly missed by all his friends and family.
In addition to his wife Laurie, he is survived by two sons Derrick P. Egger and wife Patricia Elizabeth Egger of Meeker, Colorado, and Aaron M. Egger and wife Nicole Elizabeth Egger of Jamestown NY; Tom’s grandchildren, Roberta L. Egger, Jacob D. Egger, Caidence Nicole Anderson, Chase Alexander Ashker, and Gavin Mitchell Egger; stepmother Elaine Egger; brother David Egger and wife Roxy of TX; half-sisters Kelly Wolfe and Amy Blouser of Warren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday January 7th in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 201 Pleasant Dr., Warren PA 16365.
