Thomas A. Green, 67, of Warren, Pa., went to be with his Lord, Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Warren General Hospital after an extended illness. He was born November 11, 1951 in Erie, PA. He was the son of Robert and Victoria E. Bosko Green. Tom has resided in Warren since 1975 and was formerly of Erie, PA. He was a graduate of Eau Galle High School of Eau Galle, FL He served with the U.S. Army serving in Germany. Tom became a Licensed Practical Nurse through the Warren Vocational Technical School program. He was employed with Warren State Hospital and was a deputy sheriff with the Warren County Sherriff’s office and retired in 2011 from the Rouse Warren County Home. He was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, Warren American Legion Post 135. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, earned six belts with a martial arts school and taught modern Arnis. Tom’s greatest joys in life were his family, and his grandchildren were the light of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Judy M. McGraw Green whom he married August 20, 1977 in Warren, PA., 2 Children, Paul Green and wife, Amanda of Warren, PA., Susan Jares and husband, Mike of Erie, PA., 2 Grandchildren – Luke and Julia Green of Warren, PA., Mother-in-law, Catherine McGraw of Meadville, PA., Sister-in-law, Patricia Green of Wattsburg, PA., several other numerous Brother-in-laws and Sister-in-laws, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 brother – Ken Green.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 4 to 7 P.M. where a vigil service will be conducted at 3:45 P.M. by Deacon Joseph Lucia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Friday, June 7, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, 11 Russell Street, Warren, PA., with Fr. James Gutting, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Cranesville, PA.
