Thelma M. Johnson, 91, of Warren, PA., and a resident of Rouse Warren County Home died there, Sunday, November 13, 2016 after an extended illness. She was born July 8, 1925 in Beaver Falls, PA. She was the daughter of Charles and Dorothy M. Probst Wallis. Thelma was a Warren area resident since 1947 and had formerly lived in Washington, D.C. Thelma graduated from the Class of 1942 at Mount Vernon High School of Alexandria, VA.
She had been a secretary with the Warren County School District working at Warren Area High School for 5 years. Thelma was a member of Starbrick Community Church where she had served as the church pianist, was a deaconess, secretary and treasurer.
She is survived by her brother – Robert Wallis and wife, Audrey of Kansas City, KA., her sister – Marjorie Baughman of Bagley, Minn., several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Johnson whom she married December 31, 1946 in Warren, PA., who died November 27, 1994, 2 Sons – William G. and Charles K. Johnson, 1 Brother – Donald Wallis.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. when a funeral and committal service will be conducted with Rev.
