Stephen V. Krogler, 85, of Warren, Pa. died Tuesday morning, January 20, 2015 at Warren General Hospital after an extended illness. He was born December 26, 1929 in Torpedo, Pa. and has resided most of his life in Warren, Pa. Stephen was a 1947 graduate of Youngsville High School. He was assistant store manager with the former S.S. Kresge Company, Office Manager of J.B. Connolly Beer Distributor, driver and supervisor with former Anderson’s Baking Company, Co-owner and operator of former L & S Cycle Shop. In 1972 he opened Bike World of Warren, where he retired from in 2008. While working, Stephen sponsored BMX Racing and took teams to area racing events. Stephen was a member of Holy Redeemer Church, volunteer with the church kitchen, a church usher, and their Holy Name Society where he was treasurer, former member of the Warren Knights of Columbus where he served as Past Grand Knight. He was a former active board member of the St. Joseph Cemetery Association where he served as treasurer, past member of Lakewood Rod & Gun Club, and Warren Eagles Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy A. Warr Krogler whom he married August 26, 1950 in Tidioute, Pa.

5 Children – Stephanie Freitag and her husband, Bo, Gregory Krogler and wife, Pam, John Krogler, Cathy Gerace, David Krogler and wife, Michelle all of Warren, Pa., 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Mary Poncko Krogler, 1 Brother – Joseph Krogler, 3 Sisters – Anne Suppa, Mildred Hayden, Jennie Taraschuk. Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, Pa. on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. where a vigil service will be conducted at 3:45 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at Holy Redeemer Church on Friday, January 23, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. Fr. James Gutting, Pastor, officiating, assisted by Deacon Joseph Lucia.

Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of the Ascension in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
