Shirley M. Alvino, 74, of Shelby, N.C., and formerly of Warren, PA., died Sunday, May 20, 2018. Shirley was born May 14, 1944 in Benezette, Elk Co., PA., to the late Rexford Jesse and Nila Beldon Woodring. She was a Youngsville area resident most of her life and employed in the plastics department at G.T.E. Sylvania for many years.
Shirley was survived by her husband of 52 years, Gabriel Alvino whom she married June 6, 1966 in Celeron, N.Y., 1 Son – Scott Joseph Alvino and his wife, Lisa of Shelby, N.C., 2 Brothers – Rexford L. Woodring and wife, Carol, and William H. Woodring, all of Benezette, PA., 4 Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tania Lynn Loney who died July 2, 2013, 1 Brother – Floyd J. Woodring, and 1 Sister – Wanda M. Biss.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Thursday, May24, 2018 from 6 to 8 P.M. There will be no funeral service observed. Interment will be in Mt.
