Shirley Ellen Knopf, 83, of Warren, PA, passed away December 28, 2020, at Warren General Hospital in Warren, PA.
Born on January 31, 1937 in Ramsgate, England, she was the daughter of the late James and Emily March. Shirley was the wife of the late Larry Day of Utah and the wife of the late Al Knopf, whom she married on July 10, 1969. She is survived by 3 sons – Zane Day and wife Debbie and family, Jeff Day and wife Ranae and family, Kelly Day and family; one daughter – Debbie Boyce and husband Mark and family; 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister of Ramsgate, England; 1 deceased brother; and a very much loved companion, Robert “Bob” Matteo, with whom she lived and spent many happy years with.
Shirley was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Warren and was a member of AARP and the Airforce Sergeants Association. She worked at Jamesway for 20 years and Blair Corporation for 3 years, retiring in 1995.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Donald E. I worked with Shirley for many years at Jamesway and she was 1 of my favorites. She was a wonderful friend to everyone and always wore a smile!So sorry for your loss!
Shirley was a wonderful, beautiful lady! We enjoyed spending time with her going out to dinner or to a Casino. She was so friendly and caring. We have no doubt that God welcomed her with full arms to heaven. Our sympathy.

I remember my mom worked with Shirley for years at Jamesway and I always thought she was the most beautiful lady!! I loved to listen to her talk she will always have a special place in my heart.
