Sherran M. Jones, 74, of Warren, passed away on Wednesday August 3, 2022 in UPMC Hamot Hospital, Erie.

To Dan & Roxie Gray,
We sure will miss our Dear Friend. We met Sherran back in 1997. We remained close right up till about 3 weeks ago when she wasn’t able to call us from which ever nursing home she was at; the 3 of us would talk for hours when we were able to reach her by phone many times. She was a very interesting person and very self sufficient.
We all have had over 5 years of emotional suffering; us not being an immediate relative of hers, the Covid laws and HEPA law restrictions didn’t allow us to visit her while she was in the hospitals and Nursing home. It was very wrong to make people be forced to be alone without company or even the touch of a hand shake from a friend or the comfort from a hug. That being said. Bob and I would have loved to have been able to visit in person if we would have been allowed; we tried to visit Your Sister at Rouse and Hamot several times though. We just didn’t want her to be alone through all her illnesses.
We will Miss Sherran terribly; but I am Glad to have known such a kind person as she was. I remember making & sharing Great meals together on the Holidays with friends, Gardening and canning produce together. There were friendly visits with our animals too. Sherran Loved our Piggy Sue. I also remember her praising you for the beautiful Trophy’s You and Roxie made. She was proud of all your showings with your Champion Dogs that you have. These are All Cherished Memories we will hold Close to our hearts. I am so glad that we could pray that last time we spoke together; & I know she is with our Lord finally free of pain. Yes Your Sister will be missed.
