Sandra Eileen Walters, 71, of Warren, PA passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Warren General Hospital.
Born on January 26, 1943 in Warren, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Doris Whitafield Riggle. Sandra was married to Chester L. Walters who survives. She was a 1961 graduate of Eisenhower High School and had been employed with Sylvania for many years. Sandra was an avid NASCAR and Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed reading Danielle Steel novels. She especially loved her cat, Dustie.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two children, Lori Walters and Everett “Chink” Walters, both of Warren, PA, six brothers and sisters, Donald (Jill) Riggle of Chicago, IL, Janice (Albert) Kuppertz of Weldbank, PA, John Riggle of Warren, PA, James (Mary Beth) Riggle of Youngsville, PA, Debbie (Irvin) Jenkins of Tionesta, PA, and Jeff (Jeannie) Riggle of Lander, PA, and many nieces and nephews.
At Sandra’s request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced by the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., Warren, PA. The family would like to thank the staff at the Rouse Warren County Home for their wonderful care given to Sandra and also to the staff of Hospice of Warren County.
