Ed, Jennifer and family:
Ruth was a special lady and I’m just one of the many fortunate ones to have crossed paths with her. We had many conversations regarding faith and how it frames our everyday life. I wanted to share this one memory of Ruth that I have. After a particularly difficult board meeting that we had a few years ago, Ruth slipped a note into my hand as she quietly left. The note read as follows: “God doesn’t give the hardest battles to the strongest women; he creates strong women through life’s hardest battles.”. I will miss her! You all have my deepest sympathies and continued prayers.
So hard Ruth… I feel like a part of my soul has been ripped out of me. I will love you forever.
Ed and Families ~ Our thoughts and prayers will remain with all. Deepest sympathies for your loss. Her love and compassion will never be forgotten. You are not alone in your grief, she will be missed by many. I always enjoyed our chit chats when I ordered flowers for the gravesites. God bless all at this sad time.
I only had one conversation with Ruth. She asked me a question – point blank. I answered. Ruth said, there was a rumor floating around and she wanted to hear the truth directly from me. Not one other person offered me this courtesy. This is just one more example of Ruth’s character.
My prayers are with all of Ruth’s friends and family. Wendy
So sorry for our loss! When my brother and I came to Warren, we made a stop at the Warren Memorial Park to say hello to Ruth and the staff. Our Mom and Dad have their final resting place at the park and we always felt our folks couldn’t be in a better place! We reside in So California but Warren has always home. We love the newsletter that always reminded us of the wonderful people who tend to the park! Thank you so much!
