Ronald N. Trisket fought the most courageous seven-month battle of his life, but even with his strength and resilient attitude the very rare form of cancer that he had sent him home to be with our Lord and Savior.
He said good-bye in his home with his loving wife and daughter, Gayle, by his side on March 21, 2022.
Ron was born in Columbus, PA on May 28, 1936, the son of the late C.
Herbert and Betty (Wiggers) Trisket. He attended Corry High School and went into the United States Army soon after school serving during the Korean War in Europe. After returning from the service, he went to work at Model Dairy in Corry, PA. and was eventually transferred to Warren, PA. He then worked at Nuttal Equipment in Sherman, NY, and retired from Suit-Kote Corporation. He worked in sales, as the operation’s manager and branch manager. He enjoyed his customers and was very loyal to them and most are still friends today.
A few past civic duties have included Fire Chief of Pleasant Twp. Fire
Department where he was voted fireman of the year, Baseball Coach and PTA President. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society, the Warren County Fair Board, the Glade Twp. Sewer Authority and Chautauqua County Highway Association, etc.
Ron is a member of Wayside Presbyterian Church, Erie, PA and former member of Warren’s First Presbyterian Church where he was an usher and deacon.
Ron served as Potentate of Zem Zem Shrine Center and went on to become the President of the Mid-Atlantic Shrine. He was most proud of serving the children of Shriners Hospitals. He has been a member of the Joseph Warren Lodge #726 for fifty years and is a member of the Royal Order of Jesters # 58. He is a Charter member, past president and former captain of the Zem Zem Hornets. Ron is proud of the fact that two sons and two grandsons are also Shriners.
He was a devoted husband to his wife, Barbara (Beck) Trisket and was “her rock.” They married in Juneau, Alaska on September 22, 1997. Twenty-five years ago.
As a father, he was tough, but a loving caring enforcer to his children and
grandchildren who he is so very proud of.
In addition to his wife, Barbara, he is survived by his children – Gregg (Kathy) Trisket, Gary (Nancy) Trisket all of Warren, PA., Gayle (Neil) McCoy of Erie, PA., Ronda (Bill) Morrison of Russell, PA., Kimberlee Swanson of Warren, PA., Kelly (David) Case of Erie, PA., Max (Michele) Bochmann of Limburg, Germany, 15 Grandchildren – Brianne Wooden, Michael Trisket, Nathan Trisket, Cale Trisket, Jordan Trisket, Skye Huntington, Zachary McCoy, Austin Linn, Cheyenna Niemeyer, Tasha Morrison, Dylan Morrison, Meghan Barnett, Mollie Spencer, Rachael Danneker, Karinne Case, Ben, Jimmy and Lola Bochmann.
He is also survived by the most amazing precious little people …. his 21 great grandchildren.
His brother, John (Paula) Trisket and sister, Linda (Rex) Messenger both of
Corry, PA and sister-in-law, Kathy Falkowski of Waterford, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends survive him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donny Trisket, at age eight, who died in 1950.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Members of the Joseph Warren Masonic Lodge will conduct their funeral rituals at 1:00 PM and the Zem Zem Cabiri at 1:15 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. with Ron’s nephew, Rev. James Swanson, Pastor of Pleasant Community Church, officiating. Interment will be in Foster Cemetery, Lander, PA.
