Roger A. Frederick, 72, of Warren, PA., died peacefully in his
sleep at his residence, Wednesday morning, January 11, 2017. He
was born February 1, 1944 in Warren, PA. Roger was the son of
R.D. and Buelah Geraldine Smith Frederick. He was a lifelong
Warren area resident and a 1962 graduate of Warren High School.
Roger had served with the U.S. Navy and was employed for over
20 years with the former Deluxe Metal Company. He was a
member of the Clarendon Volunteer Fire Department, Warren
American Legion Post 135 and served with Clarendon/Sheffield
V.F.W. Military Honors detail.
He is survived by his wife – Joan Rice Frederick of Warren, PA.,
3 Brothers – Clarence R. Frederick and wife, Marie of Warren,
PA., George Frederick and wife, Joan of Minor, N.D., Rufus
Frederick and wife, Gloria of Clarendon, PA., 2 Sisters – Sandy
VanHouton and husband, Tom of Jamestown, N.Y., Debbie
Frederick of Houston, TX., several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother
– R.D. Frederick, Jr., 1 Sister – Laura Stoddard.
A Memorial Service will be conducted Wednesday, January 18,
2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304
East Street, Warren, PA., with Rev. Martin Reynolds, Pastor of the
Clarendon United Methodist Church, officiating. Full military
honors will be conducted following the memorial service by
members of the Clarendon/Sheffield V.F. W. Military Honors
