Robert L. “Bob” Ludwig, 67, of Warren, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Rouse Home, Youngsville, PA. after an extended illness.
Born on November 20, 1952 in Warren, PA, Bob was a 1970 graduate of Warren Area High School and had been employed with United Refining Company for over 39 years as an insulator. In his younger days, Bob enjoyed playing sports, especially basketball. He was a referee for the soccer rec league and on the soccer board.
Bob is survived by his wife, Stacey L. Whiting Ludwig, whom he married in the Spring of 2004 in Las Vegas, NV; his mother – Beverly Henry Ludwig of Warren, PA; their children – Sarah Ludwig of Union City, PA. Emily Ludwig of Toledo, OH, Edwin Ludwig of Warren, PA, Abby Stromdahl LaFata and her husband, Brian, of Euclid, OH, Braden John Stromdahl and his wife, Madeline, and Eric Richard Stromdahl, all of Dayton, OH; 1 brother – David (Terry) Ludwig of Warren, PA; 1 sister – Amy (Doug) Gier of S. Dayton, NY; and several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his father Keith Leroy Ludwig.
Friends may call at the First Church of God, 1111 Madison Avenue, Warren, PA. on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. A funeral service will follow at the church at 1:00 PM with Rev. William Hargenrader, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA.
