Robert J. “John” Bonadio, 86, of Warren, PA., died Thursday
morning at 11:15 A.M. surrounded by his family at Kinzua
Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Warren, PA. He was born in
Kane, PA., on April 18, 1932 to the late Gerolamo “Jim” and Rose
Montour Bonadio. John was a Warren area resident for the past
57 years and a 1959 graduate of Kane High School, Kane, PA.
He had served with the U.S. Army as a Sergeant during the
Korean War. John was employed for many years with Loranger’s
as a foreman/inspector and retired in 1993 from TruckLite
Corporation. He was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church,
where he was a former usher and lector. He was a 3rd degree
member with Warren Knights of Columbus and former member
of their bowling league.
John is survived his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia Hesch
Bonadio whom he married August 10, 1957 at Holy Redeemer
R.C. Church, Warren, PA., 5 Daughters – Julie Danielson,
husband, Mark of Warren, PA., Pammie Dore, husband, Tom of
Cranberry Twp., PA., Nancy Bonadio, Becky Gnage, husband,
Rick, Christi Gignac, husband, Rick all of Warren, PA., 11
Grandchildren who affectionately called him Papa, Lauren
Zoldan (Josh), Aaren Danielson, Megan Curren (Scottie), Elishia
Wurst (Marshall), Caleb Gnage (Kim Hunter), Patrick Dore (Sarah
Pokita), Jonathan Dore (Krista), Alexander Zaffino, Katie Potter
(John) Andrew Gignac, Peyton Gignac, 7 Great Grandchildren –
Caroline Curren, Audrey Wurst, Ella Zoldan, Quintyn Zaffino,
Xenia Potter, Avery Wurst, Jaden Potter, several nieces and
nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by
1 Sister – Jean Carlson.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304
East Street, Warren, PA., on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 4 to 7 P.M.
where a vigil service will be conducted at 6:45 P.M. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 4,
2018, at Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, 11 Russell Street, Warren,
PA, with Fr. James Gutting, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be
in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery, Warren, PA. Full military honors will
be conducted by members of the Clarendon/Sheffield V.F.W.
