Rex Allen Rossey, 66, of Warren, PA., died peacefully Saturday evening, March 7, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born September 4, 1953 in Warren, PA. Rex was the son of Leo M. and Cathleen L. Smith Rossey. He was a lifelong Warren area resident. Rex graduated in 1972 from Warren Area High School and earned his associate degree in Business from Jamestown Business School. He was employed for 31 years with New Process Company as manager of the outlet store, he then went to work as Executive Director with the Warren Chapter of the American Red Cross where he worked for the past 13 years. He was a member of First Church of God, Warren Jaycees. Rex enjoyed playing outside with his granddaughters and was an avid Los Angeles Rams football enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lynn Mohney Rossey whom he married October 15, 1983 in Warren, Pa., 2 Daughters – Jennifer DeCastro and husband, Jody of North East, PA., Jaclyn Harkins and husband, Ronald of Warren, PA., 3 Grandchildren – Carolynn, Madalynn DeCastro, Riley Harkins, 1 Brother – Randall J. Rossey and wife, Jennifer of Warren, PA., Suzanna Rossey Hunt and husband Terry of Russell, PA., several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the First Church of God, 1111 Madison Avenue, Warren, PA., on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. when a funeral and committal service will be conducted by Rev. William Hargenrader, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park. I spent many enjoyable years with Rex in Jaycee activities and have fond memories working with him at New Process. Just a great person. Rex, rest in peace my friend.

I never had the pleasure of knowing Rex, but I know you and know that you must have brought much happiness to his life, and I’m sure he brought much joy to yours.
