Paul F. Bauer, 78, died on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the Warren Manor where he resided since May. He was born on April 12, 1936 on the family farm in Lucinda, PA, the son of the late Clara (Slater) and Aloysius “Lewey” Bauer.

Paul was married and divorced from Ruth McGee, then Charlotte Adams. He worked at the Clifford Harriger farm, Zacherl Coal Company, Zacherl farm, and Watson Dry Cleaning all in Clarion County. Later he moved to Warren and worked at the Warren Dairy, then with Warren County PennDot. He was a devout member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church in Warren, where he belonged to the Holy Name Society and worked at many weddings. While at PennDot, he was an active member of AFSCME Council 85 Union. We heard many stories of life on the farms; fellow workers at PennDot; and those fine persons at the Warren Dialysis Center. While at Warren Manor he and his family received good care.

The Bauer children, in birth order, are, Cyril (Billie Jean Cason), Richard (Margaret Gatesman) of Deckerville, Mich., Grace (Albert Pabst) of Dayton, Ohio, Sr. Elizabeth Mary Aloysius, OSF of Glenshaw, David (Cecile Ramier) of Lucinda, Donald, who died at 8 months, Paul, and John (Patricia Niederriter) of Lucinda.
