Norbert J. “Norm” Preshak, 82, of Sheffield, PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Warren Manor.
Born on July 31, 1935 in Wilcox, PA, Norm was the son of the late Edward and Margaret Zelenk Preshak. In 1962 he married Nancy L. Stanko, who predeceased him on July 15, 2013.
Norm worked as a quality control inspector with the former New Process Co., retiring in 1992. He had served with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Norm was a self-taught accordion player and enjoyed polka music. Music was his life, but loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Norm is survived by 2 daughters – Cindi L. Davis of Sheffield, PA, and her children, Jacqueline and Erick McClellan and Jessica and Mikaela Davis; and Tina Peters and her husband, Mark, and their children, Aysia and Shanna Peters, and Marissa Peters-Ingle and her husband, Corey; 3 great grandchildren – Madolyne Davis, and Trevor and Peyton Ingle; and a sister-in-law – Janice Highhouse of Sheffield, PA. In addition to his parents and wife, Norm was preceded in death by a brother – Francis Preshak.
There will be no visitation. Services and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
