Melissa M. “Missey” Burge, 52, of Clarendon, PA., died Thursday morning, December 2, 2021, at Warren Manor Nursing Home, Warren, PA., after an extended illness. She was born August 27, 1969, in Warren, PA. She is the daughter of Jacqueline Minnick Muroski of Warren, PA., and the late David A. Muroski who died April 30, 2020. She was a resident of Warren, Clarendon and Weldbank, PA., her entire life. Missey was a 1988 graduate of Warren Area High School. She was employed at the Blair Corporation Irvine Distribution Center for 25+ years and had also worked at Home Healthcare. She attended Holy Redeemer R.C. Church. Her family remembers Missey, as a woman who had the greatest of love for her husband, Dale. She loved playing darts with her husband and going to the casino. She was very family oriented, who warmed up the room when she smiled.
She wanted no sadness or sympathy from anyone for her health conditions. She had an immense love for her cats and enjoyed watching the game show network.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by 3 siblings, Vikki Lynn Carlson and husband, Brad, Todd David Muroski all of Warren, PA., Nikki Curtis and her significant other, Rodney Littlefield of Silver Creek, N.Y., several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale E. Burge, whom she married August 27, 1994, at St. Anthony’s of Padua Church, Saybrook, PA., who died March 31, 2021, her daughter, Peyton Leigh Burge.
A celebration of life will be conducted at the convenience of the family. She was a true earth angel and now will watch over all of you and yours. It is comforting to know that she is reunited with Dale and Peyton.
