Melanie Ann Ewing, 60, of Warren, PA., died with her family at her bedside, on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, after a brief illness. Melanie was born June 25, 1964, in Rockville, MD. She is the daughter of Virgil Boughton and Mitzie Flasher Anthony.
Melanie was a lifelong Warren area resident. She was a 1982 graduate of Warren Area High School. She was employed for 40 years, with Warren General Hospital in the Environmental Services Dept., as a supervisor. Melanie was a member of First Lutheran Church. She loved and was very passionate about being a grandmother. She enjoyed traveling and bowling.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert T. “Bob” Ewing, whom she married October 15, 1983, at First Lutheran Church, Warren, PA., her daughter – Kimberly Moore and husband, Andrew and their two children, Raegan and Easton Moore, her brother-in-law, Rev. Jeffrey Ewing and wife, Kari, all of Warren, PA., 1 Nephew – Jordi Ewing, 1 Niece – Sydney Ewing.
She was preceded in death by her stillborn son, William Thomas Ewing.
A private celebration of Melanie’s life, will be held at the convenience of the family. Those wishing to place memorials may do so through First Lutheran Church, 109 W.
