Mary Lee Morrison, 78, of Russell, PA., died on Sunday March 2, 2025, at her home with her family at her bedside.
She was born April 15, 1946, in Towanda, PA. Mary Lee was the daughter of Leon and Mary Wood Brennan. Mary Lee spent the majority of her life in Warren, where she raised her family and was an active member of the community. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Church and had been a Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph Church. She was a past member of the Women’s Club of Warren and a member of the Warren American Legion Post 135 Ladies Auxiliary. In 2005, she and her husband moved to Utah, where they spent 11 years enjoying the beautiful landscapes and making lifelong memories. In 2016, they returned to Warren where she continued to enjoy spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid baker, cook, artist doing taupe paintings and building bird houses out of gourds.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, David P. Morrison whom she married June 3, 1994, in Frewsburg, N.Y., 2 Sons – Drew Carter and wife, Carrie of Pittsburgh, PA., John Carter and wife, Amy of Holly Springs, N.C., 3 Stepchildren – Dean Morrison and wife, Margaret, David Morrison and wife, Cindy all of Warren, PA., Denise Storer and husband, Doug of Clarion, PA., 2 Sisters – Kathleen Bracci and husband, Leo of Rochester, N.Y., Jeanette Kinney and husband, Jerry of Sayre, PA., 13 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Anna Marie Williams.
Friends and family will be received at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. on Wednesday March 5, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Thursday March 6, 2025, at Holy Redeemer Church, 11 Russell St., Warren, PA., at 10:00 A.M. with Fr. Mark O’Hern, Pastor, officiating.
